Gallium
Gallium is a silvery metal with atomic number 31. It’s used in semiconductors and LEDs, but the cool thing about it is its melting point, which is only about 85 degrees Fahrenheit. If you hold a solid gallium crystal in your hand, your body heat will cause it to slowly melt into a silvery metallic puddle. Pour it into a dish, and it freezes back into a solid.
While you probably shouldn’t lick your fingers after playing with it, gallium isn’t toxic and won’t make you crazy like mercury does. And if you get tired of it, you can melt it onto glass and make yourself a mirror.
Price: $80
Someone get me this for my non-birthday.

Take a hint, ‘Muricca

For us to do that would require a LOT LOT more taxes.  I am not saying that is bad.  I mean just taxing the rich at an equal rate to their income would probably take care of it.  However we get whipped into a frenzy by the rich that “more taxes are evil” and we won’t benefit from them in the long run.  Short term inconvenience will never amount to long term stability! Sigh

So don’t tell them they’re getting more taxes beforehand?

^ That would be dishonest…  and they’d know taxes would go up anyway. [Not-so-empathetic] Rich people WOULD whine about it for a while, but I bet they’d suck it up eventually. It’s worth the fighting the small percentage of rich people and the alarmingly large percentage of not-so-rich people (who are under the illusion that those who are rich MUST have worked hard for their money) who will kick and scream about it for a while.
Too bad this country’s run by the rich.

Hmm…my Christmas tree doesn’t look quite the same as when I left it…should I be worried?
